Regeneration Score
A measure of sustained participation in long-term restoration work.
The Regeneration Score reflects a participant's ongoing contribution to ecosystem restoration through Regenerativ. It is designed to recognize sustained participation rather than one-time transactions.
The score is not a competition, does not represent ecological impact directly, and is not designed to incentivize short-term behavior. It is a record of engagement over time.
What the Score Reflects
Contribution Continuity
Participation over time, including frequency and consistency of contributions
Network Growth
Invitations that result in active participation by others in the network
Pathway Diversity
Participation across multiple restoration pathways and asset managers
Long-Term Commitment
Duration of participation and ongoing engagement with restoration updates
What the Score Does Not Reflect
- Direct ecological outcomes (e.g., carbon sequestered, trees planted)
- Ranking or competitive performance against other participants
- Financial value or investment returns
- Carbon credits, offsets, or environmental asset ownership
[Scoring Logic Framework to Be Published]
The detailed scoring framework is under development. It will be published transparently once finalized and tested for alignment with Regenerativ's long-term stewardship principles.
The goal is to design a scoring system that rewards sustained participation without creating perverse incentives or encouraging short-term optimization.
